Sensible Sunday? Pffft... Club 20 is in 'Chase Mode'

It’s been a strange few days here at Club 20, something has happened that hasn’t happened since mid-November… we, we haven’t been winning.

Sure, we may have got a little cocky, a little over confident maybe, but in our defence our bets have been amazingly sharp but have all, in their own frightfully unlucky ways, fallen victim to severe hard-done-by-edness (totally a word).

The losses have been relatively small but instead of taking our medicine this weekend, we’ve decided to do the sensible thing and try and win it back. Right now. Today!

After all, what are Sunday’s for if not for chasing!

TENNIS – AUSTRALIAN OPEN

The tennis table at Club 20 has been going along very nicely so far despite a few shock upsets and there’s a few they quite fancy today at Rod Laver.

PGA AMERICAN EXPRESS ROUND 3

We’ve got Keegan Bradley, Tony Finau and Cam Smith all in play still in the outrights, but to build our weekend bank back up we’re going to have a go at 3 bets in the Round 3, 3- ball markets.

Nice and conservative here, with our bet of the day being Cam Smith to beat Benny An and Jamie Lovemark in R3. Smith is built for Torrey Pines whereas Benny An and Lovemark are often one poor double (or worse) away from implosion.

Next we’re going to Rory to take care of Finau and Matsuyama. It’s Rory, its moving day and big Tony and Deki both played the North course yesterday whereas Rory was on the South grinding out a +1 round which will have done him the world of good.

Going to combine them both as well as take the singles for a bit more bang for our buck.

Cruelly denied sporting glory due to recurring shin splint complaints and an aversion to warm-up laps, Hedge now spends his days golfing, fishing the leaves out of the Club 20 pools and identifying value plays in PGA, AFL, AFLW and T20. All you really need to know about him is he's more than comfortable taking 3I off the tee on a Par 5, and more than capable of pulling driver off the deck second shot.
