We’re all a bit sandy this week, and I mean that literally.

It’s the first week of footy finals and we’re all bums on sand, logs and milk crates at the beach bar, temporarily relocated due to some big, top secret renovations taking place at Club 20!

We can cop being sandy though because it’s finals footy, we’re loving our bets this week and with the new developments at Club 20 almost completed, excitement levels are right up there... but dead set if the big white bedsheet they’ve tied to two palm trees doesn’t deliver us high definition finals footy come eight bells, there may be an island-wide riot!

GWS Giants vs Western Bulldogs 

Matt de Boer has surely got his sights set on a shutdown and whether it is Bont or Macrae, the end result will be someone from the Dogs needing to step into that midfield void and Lipkinski is the next man in. 27 disposals and 2 goals here three weeks ago, has gone over 25+ 4 times already this season and has kicked multiple goals in 4 games as well.

No other great risks today in the early game, like Himmelberg he always rises to the occasion in bigger games, whilst Hopper/Whitfield seem easy multi-builders for 25 each. Dale has kicked 20 goals in his last six games and kicked multiple goals in five of his last six. It is going to be pretty windy which at this stadium in particular, doesn’t bode well for the goal kickers so I’ve tried to focus on guys that stay a little closer to goal and/or can handle the conditions.

Brisbane Lions vs Richmond

There is scant value here in the disposal markets and despite the quality defenses of both sides, this game looks to have plenty of points in it. I really rate Harris Andrews and I think he will have Lynch’s measure, so Riewoldt looks the obvious spot to target for the Tigers coming off 4 goals on Adams' last start.

Cameron is the man for the Lions. Especially at the Gabba. He will get his look at 3-4 goals no problems, just needs to make his shots count.
