Punters Corner: Crispy, Coxy and some rainy weather

We’ve got over the pain of the Giants blowing all our Thursday night footy bets but a rain-affected Saturday doesn’t leave us with a lot of attractive options.

If it wasn’t going to hail in Adelaide, we’d be ALL OVER the disposal-fest that the Dogs feat. Boak would have put on, but as we check the radar and forecast it’s just too soon to tell how conditions will play out at bounce. BIG WATCH though (see below).

Little bit of rain in Melbourne as well so the Swans v Suns and the Pies v Kangas are the only two games we will be looking at today.

Club 20 2-Legger

  • Jack Crisp 30+ Disposals, Mason Cox 2+ Goals @ 5.50

Crispy is expected to continue last-start form and having no Howe only helps.

Club 20 3-legger

  • Jack Crisp 30+ Disposals, Mason Cox 2+ Goals, Lachie Weller 25+ Disposals @ 9.50

Lachie Weller will have fond memories of this place from last year’s heroics, don’t mind adding him at 25+ to any multis today.

Mason Cox  3+, 4+, 5+, 6+ Goals

Reckon the Pies might just give it to the Kangas tonight and big Coxy is going to kick a bag when the Pies kick into gear. We’re not missing out on it! He has Chris Tarrant covered by about 0.3 meters and at 5.50 (3), 16 (4), 58.50 (5) and 300-1 (6), the Club 20 patrons will be riding the big yank all game.

WEATHER WATCH: If the rain clears before bounce in Adelaide, I love all these guys to junk up big time. If it’s still pouring just don’t think it’s worth the punt.

  • Boak, Dunkley, Macrae all 30+ @ 4.00
  • Boak, Dunkley, Macrae all 30+, Lipinski 25+ @ 8.25
  • Boak, Dunkley, Macrae, Daniel all 30+, Lipinski 25+ @ 14.25
  • Boak, Dunkley, Macrae, Daniel, Lipinski all 30+ @ 31.00

Hedge

Cruelly denied sporting glory due to recurring shin splint complaints and an aversion to warm-up laps, Hedge now spends his days golfing, fishing the leaves out of the Club 20 pools and identifying value plays in PGA, AFL, AFLW and T20. All you really need to know about him is he's more than comfortable taking 3I off the tee on a Par 5, and more than capable of pulling driver off the deck second shot.
