Hey everyone, come and see how good we look!

From Dubai to Rod Laver, Torrey Pines to the Gabba, it’s another massive day of sport right around the globe and we’ve got it all (well, most of it anyway) covered for you here at Club 20.
Before we rip into it, did we mention how good we’re going at this caper (52% POT Dec, 31% POT Jan so far) and how much we think you should join in on the fun??
No? Well, we are. And you should.
Right, moving on let’s start with the Tennis.
TENNIS - AUSTRALIAN OPEN
The Tennis team at Club 20 seem to be just hitting their straps now and after a cracker yesterday, we’re hoping they follow it up with another big day of tennis glory at Rod Laver.
They’ve gone pretty hard today with six bets they feel pretty good about. Enjoy the day’s play.
Monfils/Karlovic 41.5+ @ 1.82
Gerasimov/Zverev 36.5+ @ 1.87
Rodionova/Bertens 18.5+ @ 1.96
Kyrgios -6.5 @ 2.00
Danielle Collins + Elise Mertens - Double @1.8
Taylor Townsend +3.5 @1.8
PGA TOUR – FARMERS INSURANCE OPEN
We’ve been on fire on Tour so far in 2020 hitting Cam Smith at the Sony then collecting nice EW’s on Bud Cauley and Abe Ancer at the American Express. This week is a completely different beast though.
Torrey Pines is the longest course on the PGA Tour (7,700yd) and traditionally one of the most unforgiving off the fairway. You miss the short stuff here off the tee and its almost an auto dropped shot, so length and accuracy are key. The relatively small Poa greens are lightning quick which places a priority on good putting and very sharp around-the-green game.
Justin Rose won this last year with -20 but I’ll be shocked if it that low this week, so take birdie-fest out of your mind and instead lets focus in on some guys who are decent long, straight and can scramble with the best of them.
Tony Finau @ 30-1
I’m not in love with this number but Finau’s game should translate to this course well and that is born out in his course history having made the last five cuts including a T4 and T6 in the last 3 years. He hasn’t finished worse than 24th here in five starts and he is so amazingly overdue for a win on tour, this week just feels the time to throw a dart at Finau and hope the potential translates.
Cam Smith @ 70-1
This is an insane price for Smith with most books having him around half this number. He is almost exactly the player we’re looking for can scramble well, is hitting it great and putts very well. Big ask to go 2 in 3 weeks but he is in great form.
Keegan Bradley @ 71/15
Bradley started the season well with a T12 at Sony in tough conditions, now comes to a track where he performs relatively well with his elite blend of driving distance and accuracy. He has made 6 of his last 8 cuts here so has great course knowledge and has two Top 5’s in his last 3 years so he can compete at the pointy end. So long as his around the green game is on he should be there or there abouts come Sunday afternoon, and at a great price.
Bud Cauley EW @ 81/17
Cauley is being written off this week by almost everyone given he is 121st in this field in driving distance at a course that demands length but we’re going back there at this price given his enticing mix of recent form, course form and skill set. Guy scrambles very well, coming off a T4 at a birdie-fest so the putter is on, and he has two T13 here amongst 4 made cuts in the lad 6 years including 13th last year where he lost almost a whole shot off the tee.
EURO TOUR – DUBAI DESERT CLASSIC
It’s awesome we’re getting great Euro golf in the afternoons and evenings our time again with a pretty solid field again this week sans Brooks and Cantlay.
Another Par 72 resort course which should play as easy if not easier than last week so we’re looking at three guys who are elite ball strikers who hopefully can get hot with the putter.
Louis Oosthuizen @ 13-1
Just the outright for Oosty who really should have won last week given his opportunities. Couldn’t get them to drop on the greens though. By far the best player in this field so happy to take the short price.
Martin Kaymer @ 34/7.50
Party Marty was flushing it last week but had a horror week on the greens, losing almost ten strokes to the winner Lee Westwood. Loved the comments from Kaymer mid-week about how comfortable he felt with Craig Connelly back on the bag so expect that flat stick to turn around here at a great price for the pedigree.
Danny Willett @ 41/9
Willett did not have a great week last week but a missed cut has seen him plummet in the betting to a price that is amazingly good value for a player of his calibre. Going again Danny lift son!
BIG BASH – HEAT V SIXERS
With Thunderstorms potentially lurking about the Gabba this evening, our cricket guys want a better look at the weather prior to betting. We like the price about the Sixers who have an amazingly good side in tonight, so make sure you’re following along with us on twitter which is the place to get our bets every day including Our Daily Bread (bet of the day) which is on a tear currently 7 straight (and 12 from 13!)
NBA
With so much sport on elsewhere we haven’t even got into what looks a good day of NBA so Club 20 Punters, if you’ve done a bit of number crunching and you like someone or something, come and join us on Twitter and throw the bet up there for us to come along with!
