Forget the gravy train, we’re hopping aboard the Grundy train this afternoon!

If there was no prospect of rain this afternoon in Melbourne, we’d be all over Grundy and the GWS mids like Toby Green on a defenseless face (what? Too soon?).

But with a second band looming across Victoria likely to impact play, our weather watching team at Club 20 are advising betting very (very) late on this one.

So punters beware and treat these bets with caution as they are predicated on rain having little to no impact on play.

AFL: Magpies v Giants – Brodie Grundy Most Disposals G2 @ 6.50

Needs to cover Crisp, Phillips, Mayne, Williams, Shaw and Cameron. It’s a tough market but it’s one the Club 20 punters are most keen on if the rain does linger into the start of play. This is the bet if it’s raining still in the warm-up.

AFL: Magpies v Giants – Brodie Grundy 30+ Disposals @ $8.00

Grundy had 34 touches two starts ago and 31 last time these two met. Gets a bigger ground here and can repeat.

AFL: Magpies v Giants – Grundy 20+ / Kelly/Taranto/Hopper 25+ @ $5.00

No Coniglio, no Whitfield, no Greene means the three prime movers for the Giants will find the footy. We’ve taken a nice conservative approach needing them to hit 25 touches and big Grundy, who cleared 30 last time he came up against Shane Mumford, to clear just 20 touches.

AFL: Magpies v Giants - Grundy / Williams 25+ @4.95

Again, Grundy had 31 touches last time these two sides met. Same matchup, bigger ground. He will destroy Mumford. Williams gets a huge bump going into the midfield, had a 4-5 week stretch of 25+ games including against the Pies.

AFL: Magpies v Giants –Grundy 25+ / Elliot/Himmelberg 2+ Goals @ $14.00

Love Grundy we’ve spoken about, Elliot will be the focal point in attack for the Pies whilst Himmelberg loves the MCG and can deliver on the big stage with a couple of goals here. He presents a tricky matchup for the Pies.

NRL: Storm v Eels – MiakaSivo To Score a Try @ $2.25

The NRL guys walked into the pub with a little bit more pep in their step this afternoon after landing a great 2-leg multi yesterday at over $6, and they are all over MaikaSivo tonight. Has scored 22 tries this season including 6 in his last 3 games. Storm right side defence is leaky!
