Major confession straight out of the gate, the most I know about NFL and the Superbowl is that Finkle was Einhorn, and Einhorn was Finkle.

Fortunately, we’re one big team here at Club 20 which means I can, and have, called on the help of the famous Punt Return Podcast crew to find us some winners in Superbowl LIV.

Before I go though, I thought I’d leave you all with some NFL philosophy from Mr T that relates to football, punting and life…

Punt Return Podcast - The Bet

The Punt Return Podcast analysed the strengths and weaknesses of both Super Bowl contenders, combed all the betting markets and we came up with just one bet that we all agreed on – the Overs.

• Total Points – Over 53.5

Both these teams have top 10 offensive units, and while the Chiefs have certainly improved their defensive output they have one identifiable weakness – defending the run - which is something the 49ers pride themselves on, as we saw in the NFC Championship Game when Raheem Mostert ran for 200+ yards and 4 touchdowns.

Fortunately, the Chiefs have improved in this metric over the season and in the AFC Championship Game, they limited Derrick Henry well enough that he couldn’t have his signature impact, but it’s still a worry.

The point is there should be plenty of points scored and all the boys agreed on that!

We ran through a whole range of prop and novelty bets for abit of fun on the podcast so make sure you have a listen before the big game!

Man vs. Machine

One slight hiccup with our unanimous Overs shout was a quick glance at the Match Page on Stats Insider, with the model’s slight lean to the UNDER 54.

Not since Hedge was so drunk he couldn’t stand up at the Club 20 ATM have we been presented with such a Man vs Machine battle for the ages – fascinating game within a game this but our heads and hearts are still saying Overs.
