A Yankee, possible doodles and plenty of dandy at Club 20!

It’s been a massive week at Club 20 with huge wins on Friday (251% POT) and Sunday (327% POT) causing sky-high confidence amongst the NBA crew as we look at today’s games.

The mood wasn’t the only thing that was buoyant at the Pool Bar this morning as the lads and ladies went through their swim-around, discussing matchups and markets with a renewed sense of belief after monster collects at the weekend.

Quite bullish on a few today. Here goes nothing!

Magic @ Pistons - Jonathan Isaac Combo (P+R+A) +25.5 - Over @ 1.88

Assuming Griffin plays and Gordon sits, (so check teams news prior to betting on this one) and if all things remain as expected, Isaac looks great value again. Markets have not yet realized how good this kid is despite a monster 25 point / 9 rebound game against the Pacers on Sunday….from just 30mins!

Both these teams are on the front end of a back-to-back which is never ideal but we expect this to stay close and if that happens, Isaac will cover this easy.

Evan Fournier P+R+A + 27.5 @ 1.93 is a good saver for those not keen on Isaac to repeat, one of these guys (we suspect both) will have a big game.

Same-Game Multi @ 6.00

  • Jono Isaac Points +15.5
  • Markelle Fultz Assists +4.5
  • Blake Griffin Points +19.5

Thunder @ Warriors – Dennis Schroder Combo (P+A) +18.5 - Over @ 1.90

With or without Draymond Green, the Warriors will struggle to keep this game close even at home, which brings the Thunders 6th man into play in a big way. Even in a close game, Dennis Schroder should see very close to 30 minutes tonight and in that time, against this team, that 18.5pt Combo line looks in massive trouble.

He managed 16 points and 6 assists in 33 minutes a few weeks ago against the Warriors and that was with D’Angelo Russell scoring 30 and having a huge third term. Schroder looks in a great spot regardless of blowout here.

Jazz @ Bucks – Bojan Bogdanovic Combo (P+R+A) +27.5 – Over @ 1.88

This one appeals whether Gobert sits or not but if he is out then this could be the play of the day. Coming off a 28/5/5 game against the fast-paced Pels and averaging just under 35 (combo score) in four games against Top-3 paced teams (including a 33-point, 5-rebound game against the Bucks a fortnight ago). Gobert sitting is the cream as it could open up some minutes at the five, but we feel pretty good about this one regardless.

Kings @ Celtics – Jalen Brown Combo (P+R+A) +30.5 – Over @ 1.90

He was already playing monster minutes but with no Hayward and now without Kemba Walker in this Celtics side, Brown’s usage and opportunity should really spike especially against a Kings side that plays fast. Walker is not officially out at time of publishing this but we here at Club 20 will be staggered if they trot him out less than 2 days after leaving via stretcher and neck brace.

Brown should absolutely smash this combo. The only real danger is blowout (if potentially Bogdan sits and Buddy Hield has another horror shooting night) but even then, we’re still confident Brown can sit the 4th with 30+ already banked.

Same-Game Multi @ 6.50

  • Brown Points +22.5
  • Tatum Points +20.5
  • Smart Assists +5.5

Multi Madness

We’re coming off a bumper week, pockets are full and confidence is high so if you think we’ve identified these spots just to take singles, you have a lot to learn about Club 20.

  • Jalen Brown Combo (P+R+A) +30.5
  • Bojan Bogdanovic Combo (P+R+A) +27.5
  • Dennis Schroder Combo (P+A) +18.5
  • Jonathan Isaac Combo (P+R+A) +25.5

Sure it could be (is) bordering on getting a little carried away, but we’re taking every combo today. That’s right, we’re playing up for every double, treble and the four-legger as well.

We’re going full Yankee and it will be mighty dandy if (when) we win and if (when) that happens, there may (probably will) be doodles spotted at Club 20!

Hedge

Cruelly denied sporting glory due to recurring shin splint complaints and an aversion to warm-up laps, Hedge now spends his days golfing, fishing the leaves out of the Club 20 pools and identifying value plays in PGA, AFL, AFLW and T20. All you really need to know about him is he's more than comfortable taking 3I off the tee on a Par 5, and more than capable of pulling driver off the deck second shot.
