Premier League Preview: Week 31 (Part I)

A host of Cup-related delays see the Premier League's Week 31 fixtures split into two, so let's take a look at the game of the week to find some value!

In our previews, we will compare our 10,000 simulations of every outcome compared to the bookmaker’s 50% market. Based on this data, we’ll determine whether there’s a clear betting advantage on certain markets. This can offer a clear long-term, profitable betting strategy more often than not.

This week's free play is...

Everton v Chelsea

When: Mon 18th March 3:30am EDT

The Play: Everton to win / Over 2.5 goals / Both to Score - YES

A potential three-pronged attack for the final match of the weekend, where Chelsea look to use their game in hand to return to the top five and remain within reach of Champions League football.

No official plays to give you at this stage, but with all three major markets narrowly short of a wonderful orange smiley, this is a match page worth checking outas there is every chance that one could pop up once team lists have been published.

Everton have lost just one of their last four competitive fixtures at home to Chelsea (W2, D1) and, already having ground out a draw away in the reverse clash earlier this season, will be searching for just their third positive result at home against a top ten club (D2, L5).

Marco Silva will be sweating on the health of Seamus Coleman who missed the Newcastle game with illness, while Kurt Zouma misses this one due to his loan agreement. For the Blues, Gonzalo Higuain is doubtful, but it otherwise looks like quite a strong XI to travel to Goodison Park.

Nine of Chelsea's last 11 away matches have produced over 2.5 total goals, thanks in part to them managing to keep just five clean sheets on the road. Everton failed to score at home recently to Manchester City and Liverpool, but Chelsea have been coughing up goals where they shouldn't.

The 10,000+ Stats Insider simulations have all identified potential value in favour of the three aforementioned plays, so be sure to check the match page on Saturday night!
